Youth

Tween Scene (Gr. 4-6)
Tween Scene is a ministry geared towards students in grades 4-6. We meet monthly for fun and games, as well as an opportunity to learn a little about God! Learn more about Tween Scene.
Junior High (Gr. 6-8)

Our Junior Youth program is great fun for those students in Grades 6 – 8. We meet at the church three of four Friday nights every month with occasional special “off site” events.  More info

Senior High (Gr. 9-12)

Our Senior Youth program is great fun for those students in Grades 9 – 12. We meet at the church three of four Friday nights every month with occasional special “off site” events More Info

Family

Men's Ministry (Tuesdays)

Our Men’s Ministry includes monthly men’s breakfasts, bible study groups, occasional social events and retreats. More Info

Women's Ministry (Wednesdays)

Women of Hillside meet weekly for Bible Study, monthly for times of friendship and connection as well as seasonally for outreach ministry. Women of all ages are welcome to join!. More Info

Children's Ministry (Sundays)

Nursery & Toddlers: The youngest members of our church family are lovingly cared for in our main floor nursery space. Parents can check in prior to the start of the service.

Kindergarten: The children (GradesJk & SK) are dismissed from the morning service to attend their own, age appropriate program. Each week, there will be games, crafts and Bible Stories. I

Kids Church: The children (Grades 1-5) are dismissed from the morning service to attend Kid’s Church. In our program we have Bible stories, games, crafts, and contests. More Info

VBS:This year at Hillside’s VBS, we are going Hollywood with “The Greatest Story Ever Told” … exploring what makes a story truly great and looking at the promises and attributes of God. Each day will feature engaging songs, fun-filled video adventures, Bible teaching, exciting science experiments, incredible crafts and much, much more. This program, for those entering JK – Grade 6 in September 2024, will run each day from July 15th to July 19th, 2024 from 9:00am – 12 noon. Parents and families are also invited to join us for a VBS celebration BBQ following dismissal on Friday, July 19th, 2024. More Info

House-to-House Groups

Our House-to-House Groups are groups of three or more people who gather each week in a home, workplace, or online. These are more than just social groups because they are keenly focussed on our five aims. More Info

Love Thy Neighbour

Love Thy Neighbour was created with the purpose of being the practical ‘hands and feet’ of Jesus to the community around us. We wanted to encourage people to get involved in the lives of people around them in a practical manner, and with intention. More Info.

Table Fellowship

Our fast-food, drive-thru culture has lost the idea of slowing down, gathering together and experiencing the presence of God. This reality leaves us asking: How do we at Hillside seek to build genuine community? We, that is the board and pastoral staff, believe that genuine community can be formed and fostered around a table.
